1 more day! The countdown is nearly done…

1Tomorrow the winners of the Golden Heart® and Rita® awards for excellence in romance fiction will be announced.

This has been an amazing, exciting, fun, and exhausting journey – and I am honored to have been part of this year’s group.

It’s been another busy day, with an awesome speech by Kristin Higgins – and I’m almost late for the reception for GH and Rita nominees.

So I’m going to head out. More later!

  1. Don Mulcare says:

Is there one GH award or a GH and a Rita in each of their respective categories? You can be up for a Rita next year.

  2. Don Mulcare says:

    IHi Leslie,

t seems, after looking at the GH and RITA categories and qualifiers, these awards resemble the Oscar or Emmy in scope. Not having counted the participants, it seems that GH and RITA each have 7-8 categories, each of them with 6-7 nominees, That’s like a hundred star writers all together in the same place. I’m speechless. You will have to fill a suitcase with autographed books. Think of the networking you’re doing! Who’s your agent? How many publishers are fighting over your books? Did they already give you a big check as an advance?

Let me know what’s up when you can.

    Remembered you at Mass.

    God Bless,
